Some rumors suggest that Apple has already decided the launch date of the iPhone 14: the release is scheduled for September 13, 2022. In addition to four new smartphone models, it seems that Apple will also launch three versions of Apple Watch and the new ones AirPods Pro 2 headphones.
Apple: the launch date of the iPhone 14 has been decided
The 13th is the second Tuesday in September, which is usually a perfect date for the launch of the new iPhone line. The confirmations are not there yet, but iDropNews reports that the company has already marked that date on everyone’s calendar: the new iPhones are about to arrive.
According to rumors, this year we should still see four versions of the new Apple smartphone, but with an important variation. In fact instead of the iPhone mini this year there will be an iPhone 14 Max, with the specifications of the standard version but the larger screen.
Also there should be a more marked difference between the iPhone 14 and Max than the Pro and Pro Max versions. Only the latter should have the new A16 Bionic 4-nanometer process chip, while the standard versions will still have the A15 Bionic chips seen on iPhone 13.
The Pro versions should also have a pill-shaped cut-out instead of the notch, a 120Hz screen and a major upgrade of the main camera, with the 48MP sensor.
In addition to smartphones, Apple is expected to introduce three versions of its smartwatches. In fact, in addition to Apple Watch Series 8 and a new version of Watch SE, the Extreme Edition version should also arrive. Designed for outdoor activities and extreme sports, it should be much more durable.
The Apple should finally also announce a new version of AirPods Pro, with next-generation noise cancellation and support for Lossless audio. All news that we will be able to discover on September 13 with a new event from Apple Park.
