In the new Studio Display firmware there is a reference to un Unpublished Mac Mini and which Apple may be working on for the foreseeable future. In particular, the existence of the Macmini model 10.1. This code has never been used for other Mac Minis by Apple before. It could, therefore, be one of the new models arriving over the next few months. Here are the details:
New Mac Mini on the way
Apple is working on a new Mac Mini able to complement or replace the much appreciated current model. The confirmation comes from the signing of the Studio Display monitor in which reference is made to the unpublished Macmini10,1. This new model could debut in a few months or, at most, next year.
The first with M2?
The new Mac Mini could be one of the first devices of the Cupertino house to arrive on the market with the new M2. The new chip is expected to debut in the course of 2023 although we cannot rule out a presentation already on the end of 2022. On the other hand, the Mac Mini in question will hardly be a variant of the current one but with an enhanced chip (M1 Pro) to replace the current one (M1).
