Bad news for Apple fans. Apple, in fact, significantly increased il price of iPad mini in non-US markets, after updating its online store with new models of the entry-level iPad and iPad Pro. An increase that has affected Europe above all, and which therefore affects us closely. So let’s go find out something more.
iPad mini: the price increases for all models in Europe
The price of iPad mini rises in Europe. In the United Kingdomfor example, the 64GB model now costs £ 569, up from £ 479 a few hours ago. The 256GB model costs £ 749, up from £ 619 previously. It is respectively a price increase of 19% and 21%which makes the iPad mini more expensive than the new 10.9-inch iPad, which starts at prices of £ 499 and £ 649.
Unfortunately, the price increase seems to affect most European countries. In Italy, for example, the 64GB and 256GB iPad mini models now cost € 659 and € 859 respectively, with an increase of 18% compared to the previous € 559 and € 729. But it is not only the Old Continent that suffers this fate. India and the Asia Pacific markets also saw iPad Mini price increases, albeit more modest. In Australia, for example, prices have risen by around 11%.
In any case, the company has not provided any information regarding the decision to increase the prices of its devices outside the United States. It could be due to inflation or the power of the dollar, but what is surprising is that the new products keep a fairly normal price. What happened to the iPad mini instead?
