Today Apple announced the new Mac Studio and Mac Pro, which mounts M2 Max and the new M2 Ultrawhich also arrives on the Mac Pro. The two new Apple desktops offer exceptional performance and connectivity, and Mac Studio does it with an incredibly compact design.
Mac Studio with M2 Max and M2 Ultra, Apple’s new chip
Mac Studio comes to be up to 6x faster than the fastest performing 27-inch iMaci with Intel e up to 3x faster than the previous generation Mac Studio with M1 Ultra. The new chip can handle up to 192GB of unified storage.
The new Mac Studio now offers a variety of connection options for professionals, includingi High-Bandwidth HDMIwhich supports a resolution up to 8K and a refresh rate of 240Hz.
With M2 Ultra, Mac Studio can connect up to six Pro Display XDRs, which produce more than 100 million pixels, offering plenty of screen space for professional workflows.
Connectivity is also excellent, as it now integrates advanced wireless technologies. The Wi-Fi 6E achieves download speeds up to twice as fast as the previous generation, while the Bluetooth 5.3 allows users to connect to new Bluetooth accessories. On the back, Mac Studio has four Thunderbolt 4 ports, one 10Gb Ethernet port, one boosted HDMI port, and two USB-A ports. He also has two USB-C ports and an SD card slot at the front to easily import photos and videos.
