According to Mark Gurman, we may soon have the opportunity to wear the new one Apple Watch Rugged, that is an “extreme sport” version of the wearable of the Cupertino company. Apparently, this will be equipped with a larger display and one metal shell able to withstand shocks in the best possible way. But these are not the only details leaked on the Net. Designed for athletes, hikers and extreme sports lovers, the new Apple Watch Rugged will be the larger wearable thought by the company until now. From what we know, the display will measure one almost 2 inches diagonal. And it will have about 7% more screen area than the 45mm Apple Watch Series 7, and one 410 x 502 Pixel resolution. Indeed, according to Gurman, this additional space would serve to show users more fitness data at the same time.
At the moment we do not know what the precise name of the smartwatch that Apple will dedicate to extreme sports will be, but we do know that it will guarantee better resistance to shocks, and will offer greater protection thanks to a much more resistant material than aluminum. And, finally, it will be equipped with a longer battery life, so as to adapt to longer training times. As for the other details, it would seem that the Apple Watch Rugged will be launched on the market together with the Series 8 model, later this year. It will be enough to wait, therefore, to be able to climb the mountains with your Apple wearable.
