Apptio partners with Microsoft to provide End-to-End visibility, optimization, and facilitate decision making with the Microsoft Cloud
Apptio, Inc., a leading provider of Technology Business Management (TBM) SaaS applications, announces a partnership with Microsoft. The purpose is to deploy its decision-making platform for financial management on Microsoft Cloud and thus support companies in their migration process and in optimizing workloads.

Apptio will also allow the automatic extraction of data transformed by Power BI to perform customizable analyzes, obtain insights, reports and develop applications.

The collaboration includes further support from Apptio for Microsoft Cloud platforms:
- providing even deeper financial information and insights to study the Azure migration process;
- driving application infrastructure and total cost of ownership (TCO), optimization and decision making;
- optimizing investments on platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365;
- constructing economic aspects by function and unit of product to allow the formulation of the P&L for the new digital development;
- creating insight-first applications for IT by integrating with Dynamics Financials, HR and project data, and exporting the data to the Microsoft Power BI platform;
- by running the SaaS Cloudability solution on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Apptio available on the Microsoft Azure marketplace
The initial go-to-market strategy aims to provide Microsoft Azure customers with Apptio Cloudability. The latter is an industry-leading cost management and optimization solution for public cloud environments. This includes smart analytics, utilization and cost management software for enterprise SaaS applications. Apptio’s solutions will use Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 to help customers in their decision making.
