The new JRPG developed and distributed by GUST Studios and KOEI TECMO Europe arrives throughout Europe. We obviously speak of Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream, available now on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC (on Steam). The release comes accompanied by a new trailer that shows us the daring Sophie in the mysterious adventure she will have to face in this sequel to the first chapter.
After leaving Kirchen Bell, the duo made up of Sophie Plachta discover a huge tree identical to the one Plachta had seen in a dream. As they approach, a mysterious vortex drags them inside, throwing them into the dream world of Erde Wiege, separating the two. Sophie then sets out in search of her best friend and returns home, encountering a variety of new characters along the way who are ready to join the search team. Will Sophie be able to find Plachta and discover the truth behind this mysterious new world?
During this fantastic journey, players will find themselves immersed in magical lands, full of creatures. These will not always be peaceful, and the game involves a new battle system which does not include loading times: it will be almost instantaneous. Battles will consist of six members – three in front (strike team) and three in back (reserve team). However, players will be able to change the arrangement of the characters to their liking. This will prove to be a very important condition, because the various positions will allow you to use the specials Twin Action and Dual Trigger skills.
