Over the past few hours the winners of the 2022 gods have been announced BAFTA Game Awardswho have awarded the video games of 2021 with various prizes: to win it as the best game of 2021 was Returnalthe roguelike TPS published exclusively on PlayStation 5 by the guys of Housemarque, but let’s take a look at the video games that have been the protagonists of this event.
BAFTA Game Awards 2022: Returnal is the game of the year

As we anticipated at the beginning, it was the winner as game of the year Returnala result that is not surprising, given the undeniable quality of the game packaged by Housebrandwhich surprised both critics and the public for its deep gameplay that is always fun to deal with, despite the intrinsic repetitiveness of the roguelike genre.
The other winners
Among the other winners who took home prizes we find, even here without too many surprises, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, which wins the trophy for best animation for the technical sector. A deserved result also in this case, if we consider the fine work put in place by Insomniac Games, which had the difficult task of creating one of the first true next gen video games.
Award-winning too It Takes Two, which wins as a new original IP and for the multiplayer sector, again well-deserved awards, it is no coincidence that this game won the Game of the Year award at the Game Awards. The game is indeed among the best multiplayer experiences of recent years and it’s nice to see it recognized.
