Larian Studios announced via a post on Twitter that the release of the physical edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 for consoles has been postponed
Baldur’s Gate 3 was one of the best games of last year and still today it continues to be talked about a lot. The title has already been available for some time on PC and fixed consoles, but currently exclusively in digital format.
Given the success Larian Studios has started working on some console versions with disc, but apparently there are some problems. In fact, the team announced that the release of the physical edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 for consoles has been postponed.

Console players will have to wait for the physical version of Baldur’s Gate 3
Larian Studios posted a short tweet to announce that the shipments of the Deluxe Edition for PC Baldur’s Gate 3 has started, but unfortunately there is also some bad news. In fact, it seems that the physical versions for consoles are having some problems production problems and consequently shipments will only depart between April and May. The company also revealed that the physical version for Xbox will have well inside 4 discsunlike the PS5 which only contains 2.
This delay will surely annoy many players, but luckily you won’t have to wait much longer to get your hands on the physical version of the game. Larian also stated that does not expect to encounter further delays and that in this period he will continue to keep all fans updated on the status of production.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available for PC, PS5 and Xbox series S.
