Baldur’s Gate 3, the latest great RPG from Larian Studios, won the award for game of the year ai The Game Awards 2023 and this, combined with the recent release on Xbox Series, has attracted quite a few new players. However, approaching such a vast title for the first time is not at all easy, especially given the complexity of some initial missions.
In fact, many new players are having difficulty completing one of the very first quests of the title, that is, the one in which you have to find Halsin, the druid at the head of the Emerald Grove. To help those in difficulty we have therefore decided to write this guide, where we will explain where to find Halsin in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3.
Reach the Goblin camp | Baldur’s Gate 3: Where to find Halsin
Halsin it was captured by a band of Goblins who now hold him prisoner within their camp. This place is located in the western part of the map and, as often happens in Baldur’s Gate 3, you will have many different ways to reach it.
The simplest method, however, is to enter the abandoned village and then head in the direction of the old windmill. Once you reach the goblin camp you may find some resistance and here it will be up to you to decide whether to open your way by massacring all the enemies, pretending to be their allies or simply bypassing them.
Saving Halsin | Baldur’s Gate 3: Where to find Halsin
Once you reach the goblin camp you will have to enter the large door that marks the entrance to the sanctuary. Once inside, you will have to continue until you meet a priestess and then from there you will have to continue walking to the right until you reach the Worg stables. In this place you will find some caged Worgs and a group of young goblins having fun throwing stones at a poor imprisoned bear. Incredibly this bear will indeed be Halsinthe druid you were looking for, and to save him from this situation you will have to talk to the goblins until you start the fight.
Once all enemies have been defeated Halsin will be human again and will offer you his help in fighting the other goblins in the camp. If you want to jump into battle straight away we recommend that you accept his help as this character is truly very powerful but, if instead you want to aim for a less direct approach to eliminating the camp leaders, then it is better to ask him to wait hidden. In any case now that you’ve found it your mission is complete and all you have to do is defeat all the enemies and return to the Emerald Grove to receive your prize.
Animal companion
