While succeeding the popular Dark Base 700, Dark Base 701 takes a slightly different approach. Dark Base 700 was designed for almost imperceptible operation, while Dark Base 701 is built for high airflow and high performance. This is thanks to fully perforated mesh panels, ideal for case fans or water cooling. With three pre-installed Silent Wings 4 140 mm PWM high-speed fans (maximum 1900 rpm) and space for another five 120 or 140 mm fans. So this case It can meet the cooling requirements of modern high-end systems with ease.
Installing drives, fans and radiators is easy for users of all experience levels. HDD and SSD installation is completely tool-free. Fans and radiators (up to 360mm) are installed on a front chassis that can be pulled out of the case, or on a top chassis that slides laterally from under the fixed mesh top. The entire motherboard tray can be pulled out to be assembled outside the case. The tray can be reversed with a few simple steps, and there are three additional vertical slots for vertical GPU installation with an optional riser cable. Dark Base 701 is compatible with HDD Cage 2 for HDD and SSD support.

Great performance obviously goes hand in hand with aesthetics. The sleek, all-black design of the Dark Base 701 is enhanced by two ARGB LED strips. These run along the front panel and are connected to a combined ARGB and fan hub for up to 8 PWM fans and 2 additional ARGB devices.
The front I/O includes dedicated buttons for the ARGB and fan controller, one USB Type-C port and two Type-A ports, as well as audio in and out. Cable routing channels keep the inside of the case clean and tidy, while the tempered glass side window allows for an excellent view of your PC components.
