BeReal and Spotify have launched a new feature that allows you to share the song you’re listening to in your daily photo on the social network.
Indeed, let us remember that BeReal invites users to publish one photo a day, live, without uploading from the roll or gallery, acting in stark contrast to the other photo and video platforms that focus entirely on AR filters and lenses.
The new integration allows users to show their friends which song they are listening to when they shoot, to give an even more real touch to their photos.
BeReal: how to show what we’re listening to on Spotify
Currently the feature has only been released for a few select markets e it is not currently available in Italy. However, we can expect the arrival of integration in Italy in the next few weeks.
To use the new feature, when it arrives, it will be enough link your Spotify account to your BeReal account from the app settings.
Once the two profiles are connected that will be enough take the photo while listening to music from Spotify. At that point BeReal will ask you whether or not to show the song in question. If you choose yes, other users will see the song title, artist name and album/single cover. They’ll also be able to save the song to their Spotify Favorites library in turn.
The integration, which has been rumored for a few months, is the result of the collaboration between BeReal and the Swedish streaming music giant.
