Here are the best video games coming out in December 2023: lots of fun on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series

December closed 2023; are we ready to face the new year? Whether you managed to stick to your good intentions or not (editor’s note: I didn’t), let’s start 2024 by doing what we like most: discovering a new line-up of video games!

Let’s start the new year with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the latest installation in the fascinating Prince of Persia series. Contrary to expectations, the protagonist is not the Prince known to fans, but a warrior engaged in a difficult rescue mission. Between creatures with superhuman powers and artifacts with incredible powers – you can guess which -, Sargon must make his way in a world full of mystery and danger.

Also among the upcoming video games Laika: Aged Through Blood, a “motorvania” featuring an anthropomorphic fox who, riding his faithful way, will have to ensure survival in a barren and hostile world. As if that wasn’t difficult enough, his people are threatened by the Birds, a group of militaristic and violent birds…

It also comes out in January 2024 Tekken 8! The series certainly needs no introduction and, let’s face it, it has a single purpose: to give each other blind (virtual) beatings and challenge friends to endless battles. We can say that, at the moment, Tekken 8 seems to want to do things better than before, given that there will be new modes that will make the battles decidedly intense.

For the “welcome returns” series it arrives in January 2024 Another Code: Recollection. Exclusively on Nintendo Switch, this remake includes the first chapter of Another Code (originally released for DS!) and its sequel, Another Code; R – A Journey into Lost Memories (released for Wii). Truly an excellent opportunity for those who haven’t had the opportunity to play these titles on the original platforms (that means you’re YOUNG, lucky you).

Also among the best video games of the month Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, remaster of the trilogy dedicated to the red-suited lawyer. The collection also contains DLC, but the highlight remains the madness inherent in this series: absurd characters, exaggerated expressions and cases with shocking implications to say the least are the elements that have made the Attorney series among the most loved of all time. Rediscover them in this remaster coming soon!
