Bologna Game Farm, video game acceleration program promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Municipality of Bologna, was created with the aim of growing the videogame projects of companies, freelancers and associated firms. The program aims to prepare new projects for the global market. Coordinated by IncrediBOL! and ART-ER, Bologna Game Farm is created in collaboration with IIDEA.

The acceleration program supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Municipality of Bologna aims to provide an important support for companies investing in the made in Italy video game sector. There is a non-repayable loan worth 120 thousand euros which will be divided among the 4 Emilia-Romagna realities that will be selected at the end of the program. Mauro Felicori, Councilor for Culture and Landscape of the Emilia-Romagna Region, underlines: “Culture, creativity and the digital environment are essential primary assets to face the challenges that the future offers us. The accelerator function that the Bologna Game Farm format proposes is part of a sector that will have an increasingly significant role both from an economic and a social point of view and that the Region must support with strength and determination “.
