Everything is ready. Loaded weapons and armor plates in position. There Season 3 of Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare II is ready to bring new challenges and news to fans of the Activision Blizzard shooter. The release date is set for April 12, 2023when players will be able to download the update and access the new Battle Passwhich will offer new weapons, skins and rewards.
Among the most awaited innovations there are also the new maps and new game modes. Per Warzone 2.0in particular, the new map will be Sola Ashika, a tropical location with a heavy military presence. Here players will have to go through a frenetic battle with unlimited respawns and the goal of accumulating as much money as possible. It’s a revamped version of Plunder, the fan-favorite way to level up your weapons.
Per Modern Warfare IIinstead, the new map will be Pelayo’s Lighthouse, a dark and foggy area with a lighthouse in the center. This map will be suitable for 6v6 matches and will require strategy and skill to exploit terrain and cover. In addition, the Gunfight mode will return, featuring fast and intense matches with teams of one to three players battling each other with randomized weapons.

Season 3 will also introduce two new Operators: Alejandro e Valeria, characters from the Modern Warfare II campaign. Also, there will be a new weapon to unlock: the Tempus Torrent, a sniper rifle with a high rate of fire and good damage.

Also a new anti-cheat system
Ahead of the launch of Season 3, the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat team has introduced new technologies and techniques to fight cheaters. On the game’s official website, the anti-cheat team explained that there will be zero tolerance on all matches in all modes and on both games. Individual matches will be monitored in replay mode. Here’s how the team announced the news:
- Any account caught cheating may be permanently banned from Call of Duty games, as outlined in the Security & Control Policy.
- Data from banned accounts will be deleted from leaderboards, including those in ranked modes.
- For ranked play: RICOCHET Anti-Cheat and development studios may change the Skill Rating of those who have often played with banned accounts for using cheats and gained benefits from them, even though they have not cheated themselves.
