Activision announced that Call of Duty: Warzone is coming on mobile devices. The mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone was revealed by Activision through his Twitter account. Let’s find out all the details together.
Call of Duty Warzone: Mobile is now reality: Activision’s announcement
Activision started publishing some job advertisements on his Twitter profilesurprisingly announcing that the company is working on one mobile version of Warzone. As you can see, these job postings from Activision regarding Call of Duty are rather vague e they don’t give too much information.
One thing the posts mention is that the game was natively developed for mobile deviceswhich means it won’t be a direct port of the current version of Warzone but something different. The post also reveals that the game is intended to entertain players for “many years to come”. This means that we can expect many updates e Announcementsjust like the console and PC versions of the game.
Perhaps all of this sounds familiar to you why a Call of Duty: Mobile already exists on smartphone. Do not worry, now we will clarify.
In fact it is about two completely different video games. Call of Duty: Mobile, despite being part of the franchise, was not developed by Activision’s in-house studios. The title was in fact developed by TiMi Studio Group, the studio behind Pokémon Unite and a subsidiary of Tencent. It was also first launched in 2019 and has since been one of the largest mobile games in the world.
The one on Warzone instead is a completely different project of which, however, we don’t know much. At the moment in fact we don’t know when it will be launched this new version of Call of Duty: Warzone, and not even what its official title will be. So we just have to wait for more details from Activision. To not miss the latest updates, you can consult the official website.
