Good news for those who love to stream movies and TV series on Chili: The platform just launched a brand new app for iOS devices and announced some new features for Android TV.
The version 1.1 for iPhone and iPad is in fact now available directly from the Apple Store. It is a totally redesigned version, both in terms of layout and architecture. The result is represented by a series of benefits for the user, with a better user experience (UX), a faster search for content and a more fluid and intuitive navigation.
We remind you that the Chili app is also available on Android (both mobile and TV) via the Google PlayStore, the HUAWEI AppGallery and the Samsung Galaxy Store.
Chili on iOS and Android TV: all the news
With regard to version 1.1 of Chili for iOS, the new features are:
- Possibility to download of the films in the library or purchased on your device. Thanks to this implementation, cinema and video enthusiasts will be able to enjoy their favorite content even on the go, in the absence of an internet connection, on an airplane or in the event of network instability.
- Interface restyling which allows the user to detect the content he is interested in immediately through the search filters or by directly entering the title within the search bar.
Regarding the news for Android TV instead:
- Entirely renewed design with a new look & feel of the interface characterized by the colors of the brand.
- Introduction of the feature pairing which allows the user to access the downloaded app in just a few seconds, avoiding having to manually enter their data with the remote control on the TV app.
- Experience dnavigation more attractive, simple and intuitive
- Side menu update which is now more immediately accessible and in line with the most widespread and familiar usability parameters for the user.
