The Dead Space Remake trophy list has created havoc on the net, as it contains a statuette that refers to an “alternative ending”: let’s find out all the details together
One of the most anticipated titles of this first month of 2023, in addition to the very close Forspoken (here the preview with our first impressions!) is definitely Dead Space Remake. Developed by Motive Studio and published by Electronic Arts, the title will arrive on January 27th on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X | St and represents a real joy for fans of the franchise, who have not seen anything coming since 2013. In the past few hours, the complete trophy list of Dead Space Remake has also been revealed, which has already made fans discuss and speculate a lot. There is talk of an alternate ending.
One of the trophies, in fact, entitled “Reunion”, reads as follows:
Reunion: Watch the alternate ending on any difficulty level.
Motive Studio, an internal studio of Electronic Arts, has not commented on the matter at all, although he has already reported in the past that he added a few things to the original, to create the Remake. However, there had never been talk of a turn in the narrative, such as the one that can offer an alternative ending to Isaac’s story. The trophy was obviously not present in the original version of the game, which boasted a single, epic, ending common to all players, regardless of how they decide to approach the game.

At this point the bets are open: how many and what changes did Electronic Arts make to the Dead Space narrative, in the creation of the Remake? We don’t want to tell you about the ending in any way, for obvious reasons. However, it makes us think that, perhaps, the developers themselves thought they wanted to give a more… complete ending to Isaac’s story. We’ll see!
