Dyson Supersonic Nural, the new smart hairdryer
Dyson's latest styling tool features a new scalp protection mode that uses a mesh of sensori Nural which automatically reduces heat as it approaches your head, helping to protect your scalp from damage. Thanks to these sensors it is possible to improve the styling experience, increase the shine of the hair and prevent heat damage.
Dyson Supersonic Nural, the new and improved accessories
The new and improved accessorieswhich adapt to all hair types, are equipped with a recognition system, which learns the user's styling preferences and simplifies their routine for fast and healthy drying without extreme heat.
The features of the new hairdryer
Dyson's new Nural sensors activate the Scalp Protection mode, the Learning function accessories and the Pause Detection function, which make styling easier.
Scalp protection
The mode “Scalp protection” protects the health of the scalp: In this mode, as the hairdryer gets closer to the hair and scalp, the heat is automatically reduced to 55°C, which is the optimal temperature for scalp comfort. This is made possible by a ToF (time of flight) sensor that projects an invisible infrared beam to measure the distance between the device and the hair.
Capsule lighting changes color to indicate heat setting: When Scalp Protection mode is active, the LED light color automatically changes from yellow (low heat) to orange (medium heat) and red (high heat) ), depending on the distance of the device from the head.
Learning accessories
The function “Accessory learning” remembers styling preferences: Styling routines are facilitated by the system's ability to adapt to user preferences, remembering the latest heat and airflow settings for each accessory and automatically applying them the next time it is used.
Pause detection
The function “Pause detection” for an easier routine: The Dyson Supersonic Nural hairdryer also features an accelerometer that detects movement and automatically turns off the heat, reducing airflow and noise, between styling passes.
