The eBay Live project will start next June 22nd. This is a new system for conducting online auctions via eBay. Potential buyers will have the opportunity, thanks to eBay Live, to interact with sellers as if it were a real auction thanks to live streaming video. In this way, the experience of participating and buying with an eBay auction will be very similar to that of an “in person” auction. EBay Live debuts: it starts on June 22nd
An auction dedicated to collectible cards will be the first to take place with the new one eBay Live service which, at an early stage, will be available in beta. Users will be able to interact with the seller in a similar way to how they would interact in a normal auction house. The presence of live streaming, in fact, will make everything more engaging and interesting, improving the shopping experience.
To access the auctions through eBay Live it will be possible to use the eBay app or the official website. The platform will carry out special events, dedicated to collectors, which will take place live and which will then be broadcast via the new platform in live streaming. For users there will then be the opportunity to participate in auctions.
