Elon Musk as Tony Stark? Not exactly, according to fans

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has offered to buy Twitter, and some Marvel fans are starting to compare the entrepreneur to Tony Stark. Musk said he wanted to turn Twitter into a private company, where he could personally guarantee free speech, but not everyone agrees in comparing the entrepreneur to the famous Iron Man.

Elon Musk come Tony Stark?

As you surely know, Tony Stark, better known as Iron Man, was the symbol of the whole first phase of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Genius, playboy and philanthropist, as he defines himself in the first Avengers, his character is effectively a pioneer and a brilliant inventor, even before being a superhero, which is why many fans have raised an eyebrow at the comparison with Musk.

According to many, in fact, Musk would have all the characteristics of Stark, minus the charisma and the actual talent of an inventor, which would in fact leave him alone with his multi-billion dollar fortune to share with the super hero Marvel. Actually the comparison is not exactly fitting, on the other hand we are still talking about a cartoon character.

For his part, Musk has never hidden that he loves the character Marvel, in which he probably sees many in common with his own figure. An opinion of himself that clashes with that of many Twitter users at what it opens, given that this latest release (let’s face it, a bit unhappy) has sparked the ire of a part of the web.

Not that surprising, given that the Iron Man’s sacrifice still resonates in the hearts of many.
