This new model introduces several innovations, including the return of the speed dial key, for easier use of the most popular messaging apps. Thanks to this key positioned centrally on the keyboard, the user can directly start his favorite messaging app (WhatsApp, Signal or Telegram) and is immediately in direct contact with his loved ones.

The patented emporia emergency call button, IP54 protection against dust and splashes and compatibility with M4 / T4 hearing aids, as well as automatic call acceptance when the phone is opened, give the user greater safety in the operation and daily use of their device.
A further novelty in this phone is represented by the new charging socket with USB Type-C standard that eliminates any hassle or difficulty in connecting the device to the charger. The emporiaTOUCHsmart.2 also has 2 cameras (main camera, increased from 5 to 8MP and selfie camera from 2MP), supports VoLTE technology (Voice over LTE) and is equipped with the Android 8.1 Go operating system.
The latest innovation integrated on this special model is the voice assistant dedicated to the activation and notification of various services, including the notification of sms and incoming calls, the warning of the torch and camera function, notification of the level of volume and battery, as well as the convenient notification of activation of the SOS button.
