Epson launched SureColor SC-F1000the first printer direct-to-garment (DTG) di fascia entry-level. This new solution, aimed at retailers, small businesses and enthusiasts, promises to print on fabrics with low costs and high effectiveness.

The new printer uses print heads Epson PrecisionCore Micro TFP and technology NVT (Nozzle Verification Technology). These features should increase the level of quality and stability of the images, while keeping the price low. Furthermore, the SC-F1000 can also use white ink, thus allowing direct printing on both dark and light fabrics, as well as on film.
Print quality should also improve thanks to the inks Epson UltraChrome DG2, designed to reduce yellow and black bleed. Furthermore, the printer has the ability to print in both DTG and DTF modes allows the SC-F1000. It can thus work on various products, including t-shirts, hoodies, bags and cushions.
With a slim profile and a touch display, it seems very intuitive. The wide lid opening facilitates the positioning of any type of garment or film on the platen, while several sensors detect any irregular settings to avoid printing errors. There is also the function of auto gap adjustmentwhich allows the plate to automatically position itself at the optimal height.
The SC-F1000 has USB and Wi-Fi connectivity. It requires very little maintenance thanks to automatic cleaning and easy-to-replace UltraChrome DG2 ink pouches.
