To the Anthem Day 2021, Oppo wants to announce a foldable smartphone of absolute quality: Oppo Find N. A device that promises design and construction quality of a level, with really interesting features (especially in the photographic department). In the past few hours, a lot of information has leaked about technical specifications of Oppo Find N: here’s everything we know about the smartphone.
Oppo Find N: everything we know about the foldable smartphone
Oppo has accustomed us to presenting exciting technologies at the Inno Day, the end-of-year event with which it announces products, devices and important technological innovations. This year does not want to be outdone by announcing one foldable smartphone that promises to thrill enthusiasts.
And these are not just hypotheses: after the many rumors circulated, Oppo itself has released a teaser trailer on the device, which should announce the December 15.

In the video you can see how Oppo trusts that the fold in the middle of the device, once opened, is completely invisible (or at least it doesn’t bother you). But while this video confirms the upcoming announcement, a ton of information about the device has leaked online in the last few hours, with all the key features revealed.
Oppo Find N: power in the processor and quality in the camera
With a tweet, the tipster Abhishek Yadav has published a lot of information that should have remained secret until the Oppo Inno Day 2021. In particular, it seems that Oppo has focused on re-adapting the best technical features of this year’s smartphones to include them in the foldable design of Oppo Find N.
In fact it should come with a processor Snapdragon 888, the top of the range this year. So it does not already aim for the new generation with Snapdragon 8 gen 1, nor does it have a processor modified to increase performance for gaming. But a fast and snappy chip, which also knows how to have a slight impact on the battery, essential when you have all this screen.
The battery should also be from 4.500mAh, with fast charging a 33W via USB-C cable and 15W for charging wireless. On the device we will find 256-512GB memory and 8-12GB RAM.
The external camera should have a main sensor Sony IMX766 to 50 MP, accompanied by an ultrawide from 16MP and another sensor (probably telescopic) from 13MP. Nothing revolutionary but a very solid solution for quality photographs. In front, instead a selfie camera from 32MP.
Two quality screens
Oppo seems to have decided to aim high however with the internal screen, which should be a LTPO to 120Hz. It will be an OLED display with a billion colors, a jaw-dropping technology that the company showed already last year. But this time the screen reaches 8 inches when open, promising to enchant fans of this form factor. The resolution should be of 1792×1920.
The external screen, the one we know the least about, should have a more normal one 60Hz refresh rate. But it seems that it can be used for many functions without having to open the smartphone, it will not be just a “screen” for notifications. However, the greatest doubts remain on this component.
On the other hand, certainly the arrival of ColorOS 12 on the smartphone, which we expect to bring news designed specifically for the folding screen of Oppo Find N. At the Inno Day 2021 the company will certainly show some functions designed specifically for the large display and we can’t wait to discover it.
Price and availability
The 8 + 256GB version should cost 12,999 Chinese yuan, approximately 1813 euro. The 12 + 512GB version should reach 13,999, approximately 1952 euro. However, the greatest doubts remain about the available cuts and the price outside China. We do not expect a global commercialization immediately, but rather a launch in China followed some time later by an arrival in Europe and the USA. With the possibility that prices change.
All this information remains to be confirmed at Inno Day 2021: we will keep you informed with every possible news. But in the meantime, what do you think of this Oppo folding?
