After a hard-fought qualifying phase, the second season of the Ferrari Sports Series, the championship dedicated to GT cars organized by Ferrari in Europe on the ‘Assetto Corsa’ software developed by Kunos Simulations, comes alive; in fact planned for the next December 14 the finals, which will be accessed by qualified drivers from Groups A and B, who will compete in three exciting races on as many circuits: Imola, Barcelona e Mugello.
24 qualified drivers in all, with a challenge in the challenge, as the two Groups were respectively won by the British Isaac Price (Group A) and from the French Arnaud Lacombe (Group B), for a duel that will not fail to trigger a competition of the highest technical level between two decidedly very different driving styles.
In this context, the very fast Italian will certainly not be spectators Leonardo D’Alcamo and the Polish Kamil Pawlowski another pure Esports talent.
Under the checkered flag, the fastest of all will have, in addition to the honor of winning, a unique chance, namely that of joining the FDA Esports team, which this year includes David tonizza, Brendon Leigh, sim racer of great experience and Giovanni De Salvo, winner of the 2020 edition of the Series.
Still on the subject of Esports, but in this case to be ‘run on smartphone’, the winner of the first was also announced on Tuesday 7 December ‘Ferrari Esports Series Mobile Tournament‘, the tournament dedicated to mobile gaming enthusiasts that has seen great success with both the public and participants.
The live broadcast of the Finals on December 14th will be broadcast on the official Twitch channel, with the commentary of two characters much loved by the public: Nicki Shields, pit lane reporter for the FIA Formula E Championship, e Paul Jeffrey, Sim Racing expert journalist, and former official voice of Sro Esports and Race Department.
