It has now been several years since the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and fans can’t wait to find out how Cloud’s story continues in the second part of this great makeover. Until now Square Enix did not reveal much information about the continuation of his latest Final Fantasy, but during the event dedicated to 25th anniversary of the seventh chapter the situation has changed drastically. In fact, tonight the company announced with a trailer that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be the official name of the second part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Zack and Sephiroth appear in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth trailer
The reveal trailer for the game did not show no gameplay sequence and it did not stand out for the breathtaking action scenes, but it allowed us to witness two very interesting scenes. In one we have finally reviewed Zack intent on supporting an unconscious Cloud, while in the other it is possible to observe the protagonist while walking quietly in the company of Sephiroth. By now the story of this remake has taken a path very different from that of the original game and consequently fans shouldn’t be too surprised by such unfamiliar scenes.
The announcement trailer also revealed two very important information: the release period of the game and the platform. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is in fact currently slated for next winter and apparently will be released exclusively on PS5. This it doesn’t mean that the game will remain Sony exclusive foreverbut at least at launch it will only be available on the latest PlayStation console.
