SQUARE ENIX has revealed that Dawntrailthe fifth expansion of the acclaimed MMO FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, will launch on July 2, 2024. The announcement was made over the weekend, arousing great anticipation among fans of the series. In addition, the company introduced the Collector’s Editionwith pre-orders starting on March 26, 2024.

During the PAX East 2024 event, Naoki Yoshida, producer and director of the game, offered a retrospective on the ten-year journey of FINAL FANTASY XIV, outlining the innovations that Dawntrail will bring. Among these, one new plotthe introduction of two new classes (Pictomancer and Viper), a series of unexplored dungeons and high-level challenges, as well as theraising the maximum level cap to 100.
