Sony Interactive Entertainment (“SIE”) announced that Firesprite Limited, the new development studio ready to join PlayStation Studios, has completed the acquisition of Fabrik Games, a studio with headquarters located in the north-west of England (Manchester).
Firesprite Limited takes control of Fabrik Games Limited
Fabrik Games was founded by the CEO of Firesprite, Graeme Anchors, in 2014 with a vision to create, publish and support new gaming experiences from Manchester, including the launch of several independent titles. Most recently, Fabrik Games partnered with Firesprite to bring the survival horror title The Persistence across multiple platforms. Fabrik will join Firesprite, playing a key role in the studio’s efforts for strengthen SIE’s exclusive game catalog.

The acquisition of Fabrik Games – it is mentioned in the press release – took place in relation at Firesprite’s entry into PlayStation Studios, bringing the total number of employees to 265.
