Entirely player-built cities and a dynamic open world are just some of the features of the new Fractured Online.
Fractured Online: what you need to know about the new Gamigo group title
Gamigo group officially announces a publishing deal with Dynamight Studios for its first open-world MMORPG: Fractured Online. It is a game with sandbox features that aims to offer full freedom to the creativity of the players. In fact, thanks to an exclusive character progression system, users will be able to shape the world and create incredible stories.
Fractured Online features three races: humans, savages and demons. Each of these has a different impact on the game mechanics. Everything will start from the peaceful town of Wildfolk, where cooperation and feudal rules reign supreme. By transgressing these dictates – such as killing other players – the character will become more and more aligned with the race of demons. In short, free will, yes, but also its natural consequences.
“We wanted to create something that was more powerful and flexible than conventional RPG’s skill and level progression system,” he says. Jacopo Gallelli, co-founder and CEO of Dynamight Studios. “In Fractured Online, we are giving importance to the phrase ‘knowledge is power’ by introducing the Knowledge System. In fact, the system rewards brave and intelligent players ”.
Be nice to your village neighbor, but if you can’t kill him
Every item in the game is created by players, so it’s best to be nice to blacksmith, otherwise you might end up fighting enemies with a stick. Artisans, merchants, farmers, shepherds, miners, woodcutters, hunters and scavengers all play an important role in the world. In short, an undergrowth of characters characterized by the free will of users.
Combat also plays a vital role, as players will find it a suitable way to resolve a dispute. The fight will become hectic as fighters learn to aim, dodge and master over 400 skills. It is up to you to decide whether to use the skills against various monsters in PvE battles or against your fellow players in PvP battles.
“Our team is very proud to be the new publisher of ‘Fractured Online’ as we see tremendous potential in the game,” he says. Andreas Weidenhaupt, COO of Gaming Group. “We have closely followed Dynamight since their successful Kickstarter campaign and are now looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”
