Galaxy AI supports new languages ​​and dialects

Samsung has announced an update to its artificial intelligence platform Galaxy AIwhich brings support for three new languages: Arabic, Indonesian and Russian. Additionally, the AI ​​also supports three new dialects: Australian English, Cantonese and Canadian French.

These six new options are in addition to 13 languages ​​already supported by Galaxy AIallowing an even wider range of users to exploit the potential of artificial intelligence on their Samsung smartphones.

The Korean company which has already planned the introduction of four other languages ​​by the end of the year: Romanian, Turkish, Dutch and Swedish. Without forgetting the Traditional Chinese and the European Portuguese.

The objective stated by TM RohPresident and Head of Mobile eXperience Business of Samsung Electronics, is to “democratizing mobile AI for all.” A goal that also involves overcoming linguistic barriers.

Many new people can thus use Samsung's new AI features. We start from Live translation, which allows you to translate both incoming and outgoing phone calls in real time. Then there is theInterpreter, which allows two people to have a live conversation, each in their own language, complete with split-screen transcription. While theChat Assistant is able to perfect the tone of the conversation in every type of chat.

Finally, there is no shortage of tools more oriented towards productivity, such asNote Assistant to create summaries andTranscription Assistant to convert audio to text. Or again theWeb Assistantwhich generates overviews of online articles and pages to always stay up to date.
