Microsoft today announced the first wave of new games that will be coming up Xbox Game Pass in January. As always, however, for some titles that arrive, others must go away. That’s life. It is inescapable. Some of the upcoming games have actually been in the air for a while, so it’s hard to speak of a surprise.
Without further ado, then, let’s find out which games are leaving the catalog and which others will be available this month.
The games that will leave the catalog
After the departure of 9 December titles (including the appreciated Tropico 6), the Game Pass catalog is preparing to say goodbye to 6 new games. With a heavy heart and full of sorrow, we inform you that from 15 January it will no longer be possible to play:
- Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc – (Cloud, Console e PC)
- Nobody Saves The World – (Cloud, Console e PC)
- Pupperazzi – (Cloud, Console e PC)
- The Anacrusis (Game Preview) – (Cloud, Console e PC)
- We Happy Few – (Cloud, Console e PC)
- Windjammers 2 – (Cloud, Console e PC)
We remind you that if you want to buy the games that will be removed, you have the possibility to benefit from the 20% discount on all titles in the Game Pass catalog and 10% on add-ons. The offer is obviously confidential only to subscribers of the service and only covers games currently in the catalog. So if you haven’t finished one of the games yet, take advantage of it by January 15th, to finish them or buy them at a discount.
January’s new games on Xbox Game Pass
After the unannounced arrival of Stranded Deep, a bizarre survival game, and the return of Mortal Shell, the Game Pass novelties for January are unfortunately only three. And none of these, in reality, represents a real novelty. Of course we are talking about:
However, we remind you that Microsoft usually makes two tranches of monthly announcements. We can therefore expect new games after the first half of the month.
