This latency saver feature simplifies the experience and avoids the process of having to find the TV remote, change the mode setting, and reset it after gaming sessions are over.

Another new feature is the night listening mode, which allows users to stream games or watch movies at night without disturbing others. SHIELD will automatically adjust sound levels for loud explosions, quiet dialogue and everything in between to deliver a consistent listening experience regardless of volume settings. The update also includes microphone notifications that help identify which microphone is turned on when multiple devices are connected. Whether it’s playing from the cloud with GeForce NOW or playing an Android game locally, the latest SHIELD update helps its users get the most responsive living room gaming experience.
