We recall first that the future Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will arrive on the market with an AD104 GPU chipwhich should be based on 7680 CUDA Cores flanked by 12GB of GDDR6X RAM, with a Base Clock of 2310 MHz and a Boost Clock of 2610 MHz.
GIGABYTE: here are the first photos of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti AERO!
As you can see from the first images from the Custom design of GIGABYTE’s RTX 4070 Ti AERO, the focus is always on the typical layout of the series, a series that is aimed at an audience of Gamers but also Overclockers. An interesting aspect of this card is that it has a 16-pin ATX 12VHPWR connector and includes a power adapter provided by NVIDIA which converts two 8-pin PCIe power connectors into one 12VHPWR. We know that this adapter is different from the 2x 8-pin to 12-pin adapter that NVIDIA included with the RTX 3080 Founders Edition, and you can see it by looking at the four pins of the sensor, so we assume there will be a very different flow of power.
Even if the connector has a input to handle up to 300 W and therefore the typical card power of the RTX 4070 Ti will be 300W or less. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is essentially a re-branding of what would have been the RTX 4080 12GB. Because the chip has a memory interface GDDR6X a 192 bit, which was at the center of the “RTX 4080 12GB” name controversy. As soon as we have official information we will report the latest news.
