News coming from Google for its search engine which, in the desktop version, introduces the continuous scroll function with the ability to consult up to 6 pages of results, improving the user experience of users. This novelty is being introduced, for now, in the USA but is destined to make its way around the world shortly. Here’s how this new feature works:
Google introduces seamless scrolling for desktop search results
Google today announced the introduction of the continuous scrolling system for desktop search results. The function allows you to consult up to 6 pages of results simply “scrolling” down, without having to open a new page. Confirmation of the arrival of this function comes directly from Google’s Twitter account.
In this way, the search becomes more consistent with the mobile version and it will become easier for users to consult the results. To access the second page, therefore, just keep scrolling down.
This feature will soon be available to all Google users as it currently is accessible only in the USA. This is an important novelty for the American company’s search engine, which is increasingly rich in functions to simplify the consultation of search results by users as much as possible. Soon, the continuous scrolling will also arrive in Italy.
Starting today, we’re bringing continuous scrolling to desktop in English in the U.S. so you can continue to see more search results easily. When you reach the bottom of a search results page, you’ll now be able to see up to six pages of results. pic.twitter.com/xIuVP24FFm
