Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.29 Introduces Support For PS VR2 (And More)
The most important news is certainly the arrival of support for the brand new Sony viewer (which we previewed here). PSVR2 will officially release the day after tomorrow, February 22, 2023. Virtual pilots will therefore be able to wear it to try their hand at more immersive races than ever before.
The five new cars that will debut in the game are:
- Honda RA272 ’65
- Italdesign Exeneo Vision Gran Turismo Street
- Italdesign Exeneo Vision Gran Turismo (Off-Road Mode)
- Citroën DS 21 Pallas ’70
- Porsche 911 Carrera RS (901) ’73
Among the circuits, the Grand Valley map returns, with an almost entirely redesigned look. Finally, the launch of support for PlayStation VR 2 coincides with the introduction of a new limited-time mode, playable in both 1v1 and against the AI. The latter, for the occasion, has been rescheduled to make the challenges even more difficult.
Below is the official trailer for the February update.
