GTA The Trilogy Definitive Edition is official: here are the details
This Definitive Edition is configured as a celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the third installment of the series, which dates back to 2001 and much is still uncertain about the update operations that Rockstar has implemented on the titles it includes. The software in fact limited itself to declaring that these remaster versions will retain the look of the originals with minor gameplay tweaks.
It is not clear what these gameplay modernization operations would consist of, but it is likely that the company intends operations aimed at streamlining some game mechanics, which in this period would be heavy and not very useful for the gameplay. In any case Rockstar has promised that new details will come in the coming weeks, so we just have to wait to find out more.
The announcement of this remaster is not that surprising, on the other hand it had already been leaked several times, to the point that according to many analysts its arrival was now 99% sure.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Remastered Edition has been confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch e PC via Rockstar Games Launcher, before the end of the year. As if that were not enough, in 2022 the collection should also arrive on iOS and Android mobile devices, on which the previous versions of the titles in the package will be removed.
