Wolverine and 343 Industries will sell 117 pairs of Halo boots for $ 225.
Halo Boots: One Small Step for Man, One Big Step for Master Chief
The American footwear company Wolverine, in collaboration with 343 Industries, has announced that it will market special boots inspired by the Halo videogame franchise. This is a limited edition of just 117 pairs, which will cost $ 225 (€ 205), complete with a Master Chief number (117) sewn on top.
“We have received so many comments from fans asking us to bring these iconic boots into reality,” Wolverine said in a statement. “Today, after nearly a year of design and collaboration, Wolverine and 343 Industries are answering the call.”
The boots also feature the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) insignia on the side, as well as the logo of the Materials Group, the division that developed the Mjolnir Powered assault armor worn by the Spartans. In short, a whole series of references that will not escape the fans of the series.
At the moment it has not been specified how the pieces will be sold, being the limited edition of 117 pairs.
