The celebrations for the tenth anniversary of Hearthstone are in full swing in the taverns of Azeroth, and the invitation is extended to all to join in the festivities. A celebration which also arrives in the year of thirtieth anniversary of World of Warcraftand therefore the party practically becomes double.
Players are then invited to participate in a variety of activities and collect exclusive rewards to commemorate Warcraft’s lasting impact on the Blizzard gaming universe.
Hearthstone celebrations
Players can already take advantage of the numerous offers available for Hearthstone’s 10th anniversary, including:
- A collection of 12 special cardswith a “Gift” card dedicated to each class and a unique extra card: Harth Maltoforte.
- An exclusive Rewards Path which allows you to obtain golden versions of the 12 “Gift” cards and a special Birthday Coin.
Starting today, players can undertake quests to earn a commemorative 10th anniversary card back. Plus, fans of Hearthstone tunes can get in the mood with a new music video available on the Hearthstone YouTube channel.
The first album is also available “Music from the Tavern”, which includes 30 tracks from the game, which can be streamed on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. Finally, two more albums will be released during the year.
World of Warcraft news
WoW players looking to join in on the festivities will find a variety of rewards and activities, including The Fiery Hearthstone Steed. This mount is available from today until the 14th and can be obtained simply by playing Hearthstone. This is a tribute to the original Steed released with the launch of the game. How to get it? Simple: new players will be enough complete the Hearthstone tutorial, while veterans will simply have to log in to the game.
Hearthstone tournaments will take place from now until March 18 in locations including Stormwind Harbor, Durotar (outside Orgrimmar), and Valdrakken. By participating, players will be able to experience a Hearthstone match within WoW. Those who stay for the duration of the tournaments will have the opportunity to attend a special event with Frizzabombesimilar to Diablo IV’s Treasure Goblin launch event, and gain unique rewards, such as:
