From today it is possible to pre-order the highly anticipated PlayStation VR2, the new virtual reality viewer for PlayStation 5. The device will arrive on the market on February 22, 2023, but in these hours the pre-order has already run on the main sites. But where should you buy? To understand this, we took a look at the various prices.
Recall that the launch price announced by Sony is €599 for the basic set e 649€ per bundle with Horizon Call of the Mountain. We also remind you that the viewer, in order to be used, requires a PlayStation 5.
The viewer will introduce several very innovative features, which could justify the high price. Among these certainly the eye tracking technology and the possibility of Switch between the view of your surroundings and content on PS VR 2 at any timeby simply pressing the function key or by using the Control Center Tab. However, PlayStation VR 2 will not be backwards compatible with all games from the first PS VR.
Where to pre-order PlayStation VR2
The pre-order, available from today, is possible on numerous sites including Amazon.it, GameStop and obviously on the official Sony store. Our advice obviously falls on Amazon, which provides for the possibility of paying in installments with guaranteed guarantee. Furthermore, Amazon.it is the platform that sells the viewer at the lowest price (at least at the time of writing this article).
However, purchases on Amazon seem to be quite difficult, due to the high demand at the time of the pre-order launch. As a second alternative we recommend you GameStopwhich currently sells the basic headset to 599,98€ e il bundle con Horizon Call of the Mountain a 649,98€. You can also buy the PS VR2 controller charging cradle on the site 49,98€.
