Hisense, a global leader in home appliances and consumer electronics, officially opens Hisense Europe R&D Center a Order, in Slovenia. In this new research and development center, Hisense home appliances from all over Europe as well as high-end and kitchen appliances for the global market will be brought to life.

This new opening has allowed Hisense to further strengthen its ties with Slovenia. New development headquarters at European level and beyond, and to create new jobs. In fact, the President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musarwho underlined its importance for young professionals and engineers.
To confirm this aspect also Boštjan Pečnik, Executive Vice President of Hisense Europe and Head of Research and Development. “In three years we have increased the number of R&D employees in Slovenia by 40%. We have mainly focused on three areas of development, which are crucial for future technological competitiveness: the development of electronics, the development of intelligent connected devices and services, and finally, the area of research and development of new technologies, also called pre-development. Our employees participate in cross-team teams, are increasingly using agile methods in their work, and actively collaborate with faculty and suppliers.”
The investment in the new Research and Development Center is part of a larger project that focuses on the new generations of household appliances and which will last until November 2024.
