Not even the time to find a temporary agreement with SIAE that Instagram is about to bring music to Notes too, the feature launched in January that, let’s face it, never really took off. There is also a new text translation tool.
Let’s look specifically at both new features.
How music works in Instagram Notes
The new feature officially launched today, although it’s not yet available to all users. This will allow you to add up to 30 seconds of music to your Notes. The songs, as is the case with the stories, will be selectable from the Meta catalog, and should therefore include almost all of the global music published.
In addition to the music, the Notes can obviously contain a short text message (after all, the functionality was born for this very reason). The maximum number of characters is as always 60, including emojis. Each Note remains visible for 24 hours, just like Stories.
New tools for automatic translation of Notes
But music is not the only novelty concerning the Notes. Instagram is also working on implementing an fmachine translation featurewhich will allow users to read messages written in languages other than their own.
This option, already active for posts and stories, will be very useful for those who follow accounts from all over the world.
