In the frame of the CES – Consumer Electronics Show currently underway in Las Vegas – Intel presented the entire family of processors Intel Core 13th generation for portable devices. It comes to well 32 new hardware with unprecedented performancewhich will debut on the market with the i9-13980HX model, the first 24-core processor for a portable PC and the fastest in the world in its category.

Intel Core H-series processors

Also among the processors announced is the new H-Series family, with industry-leading performance, which will be installed in more than 60 laptop models. Among the main features we highlight:

  • Up to 5.6 gigahertz (GHz) turbo frequency – the fastest clock speed available on the mobile PC market – delivering up to 11% faster single-threaded performance and 49% faster desktop performance multitasking than the previous generation.
  • Up to 24 cores (8 Performance-cores, 16 Efficient-cores), 32 threads and an improved Intel Thread Director.
  • Full memory support up to 128 gigabytes (GB) total for DDR5 (up to 5600 MHz) and DDR4 (up to 3200 MHz).
  • Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) for six times faster internet browsing speed with no channel interference from previous Wi-Fi technologies.
  • The latest Bluetooth connectivity with Intel Bluetooth LE Audio and Bluetooth 5.2 to support double the speed and connect multiple devices with less power consumption.
  • Support for Thunderbolt 4, which offers up to 40 gigabits per second (Gbps) of transfer speeds and connect your PC to multiple 4K monitors and accessories.
  • Better integrated graphics experience thanks to improved driver sets and Intel’s experience working on discrete graphics.
  • Overclocking capabilities on all HX and HK models.

Also presented are the Intel Core processors for mobile series P e series U of thirteenth generation, perfect for those looking for high performance even when they are on the move with thin and elegant PCs. Among the main features:

  • Up to 14 cores (6 Performance-cores, 8 Efficient-cores) and improved Intel Thread Director.
  • New Intel Iris Xe graphics features like gaming endurance, XeSS Super Sampling, and Intel Arc Control.
  • Extensive memory support for DDR5 and DDR4 and LP variants.
  • Integrated Intel Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) and new wireless features like Intel Connectivity Performance Suite, Intel Wi-Fi Proximity Sensing, and Intel Bluetooth LE Audio.
  • Up to 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports offering the simplest and most reliable wired connection solution for any docking station, display and accessory.
