Intel he revealed to CES 2024 its new range of Fourteenth generation Core processors for laptops and desktops, which includes the powerful HX series mobile processors and 65 and 35 Watt desktop processors for the mainstream market. It also launched its new line of Core 1-series mobile processors, with the Core 7 150U as the reference model, for high-performance thin-and-light mobile PCs.
These new mobile and desktop processors join the new based systems Core Ultra of Intel’s partners, ushering in the era of AI PCs and bringing artificial intelligence to every field.

Core serie HX
The 14th generation HX Series mobile Core processors are designed for gamers, content creators and professionals who need high computing performance and mobility. The top of the range model is the Core i9-14900HX, which has 8 performance cores (P cores) and 16 efficient cores (E cores). More generally, the HX series offers the best single and multi-threaded connectivity and performance. Content creators will also benefit from a performance boost thanks to 50% more E-cores in the processors Core i7-14700HX.
With more than 60 14th Generation Core HX-based partner systems hitting the market in 2024, mobile enthusiasts will be able to play, create and work on the go like never before.
Core desktop
The range of processors Fourteenth generation desktop core expands to offer traditional PC users – and businesses across multiple industries – new ways to leverage the performance of Intel’s latest generation desktop processors. These 18 new processors they allow users to play, create and work at high levels, with the platform features users have come to expect from Intel.

Also at CES 2024, Intel presented its new series of processors mobile Core U, which brings efficiency and performance to thin-and-light portable PCs for the average user. The new series also retains the platform features that PC users demand from Intel mobile processors.
The new Core U 1-series processor includes:
- Turbo up to 5.4GHz with up to 10 cores (2 P-cores, 8 E-cores) and 12 threads in the Core 7 150U processor.
- Up to 96GB of total memory DDR5-5200/DDR4-3200 MT/S.
- Thunderbolt 4 for productivity and gaming, which allows a bandwidth of 40 Gbps to connect multiple 4K monitors and accessories.
- Support for eight PCIe Gen 4.0 lanes and 12 PCIe Gen 3.0 lanes for the latest generation SSDs.
- Bluetooth connectivity with support for Bluetooth 5.4 and Bluetooth 5.3, including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) audio
- Wireless connectivity next generation with support for Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 (5 Gig) and Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+).
Mobile PCs based on Core U 1-series processors will be available in the first quarter of 2024.
