Apple has made iOS 17, iPadOS 17 and watchOS 10 available for download: from today you can try all the new software updates for Apple devices. Upcoming features let you make the most of your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

For your iPhones (from the XS model onwards) there are lots of interesting new features coming, which vary in functionality NameDrop a Standby. iPadOS 17 arrives per iPad (6th generation and later), iPad mini (5th generation and later), iPad Air (3rd generation and later), 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2nd generation and later), 10.5-inch iPad Pro, and iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation and later).
A new design for watchOS 10
Apple has released watchOS 10, which brings a new look to apps for clearer information display, a Smart Stack for context-aware widgets and new watch faces. For cyclists, there’s Bluetooth connectivity for power meters and sensors, as well as features Compass Waypoints e Maps for outdoor adventures. The app Mindfulness offers mental health support, and Apple Watch now measures time spent in daylight.
The Control Center is accessible from the side buttonand there are five new watch faces, including Snoopy e Palette. Snoopy is an interactive watch face with Peanuts, Palette uses various colors to indicate the time, Solar Analog shows the time with lights and shadows, Nike Globe lights up the globe and Modular Ultra offers real-time data and night mode on Apple Watch Ultra.
Apple Watch will have new features for cyclists, with features like automatic workout tracking, e-bike calorimetry, and fall detection. watchOS 10 further enhances the cycling experience with new metrics and views optimized for handlebar-mounted iPhone, making viewing while cycling more convenient. THEl Bluetooth support for cycling accessories such as power meters and speed sensors offers new metrics, such as power and cadence, and estimates functional threshold power (FTP) to improve performance.
Myopia is a leading cause of vision problems worldwide. With watchOS 10, Apple Watch allows you to measure the time spent in daylight using the ambient light sensor, and this information can be viewed in the Health app on your iPhone or iPad.
Other watchOS 10 updates include deeper integration between Apple Watch e HomePod, the ability to use offline maps when the Apple Watch is close to the iPhone, support for viewing FaceTime video messages, follow-up reminder in the Medications app and new features for Apple Fitness+, including Custom Plans and Stacks. Furthermore, there are improvements in the management of audio and notifications.
