Apple will reveal its next generation iPhones to the world next month, in all likelihood, and awaiting an official announcement, the Taiwanese research firm TrendForce outlined its expectations for next-generation devices. According to the company with the iPhone 13, Apple should implement a larger battery and 5G support outside the US.
iPhone 13: Better battery and 5G support outside the US
TrendForce said that, according to the latest investigations, some of the noteworthy hardware upgrades for the iPhone 13 models will include a faster, more energy efficient 5nm + chip, which will presumably be called the A15 Bionic.
Also included support for mmWave 5G in other countries outside the United States and space-saving internal circuits that will likely allow the implementation of larger batteries inside the devices. All these characteristics had already emerged previously in the form of rumors and are gradually becoming more and more concrete.
As for pricing, TrendForce believes the series iPhone 13 will be priced similar to that of the iPhone 12 series, this is assuming Apple is able to effectively control manufacturing costs, due to the lack of many significant hardware upgrades.
While the series iPhone 12 was announced in October last year, probably due to delays related to the pandemic, the research firm said that Apple will opt for the month of September 2021 regarding the launch of the iPhone 13. Also according to the forecasts of the company, iPhone sales should continue to grow throughout the last part of the year, thanks to the launch of the iPhone 13 on the market.
We therefore await any confirmations from Apple.
