iPhone 14: here are the news
Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu says based on his supply chain research, iPhone 14 is now in the EVT stage, with no impact from the previous Shenzhen blockade. Additionally, the analyst shared some curiosities about the upcoming iPhone 14.
Specifically, the insider explains that the A16 chip, intended for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, will feature a larger size than the A15, despite the migration to 4nm technology. Jeff Pu also states that there is still a high probability that Apple launch a periscope camera for iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max with 5x optical zoom.
Previously, a report from the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that Apple could launch this new camera design for iPhone 14 models.
Last but not least, Pu unveiled an important curiosity about Apple’s future OLED iPad. The analyst expects that Apple adopt an OLED panel in 2024 for 11 and 12.9 inch iPads. An earlier report from The Elec confirms Pu’s analysis, although Apple is unlikely to switch from miniLED to OLED on its iPad Pro. Most likely, the iPad OLED will be for the Air range.
