We may have to wait longer than expected for the first Apple product launch in 2022: iPhone SE 3 e iPad Air fifth generation will arrive in spring. In fact, it seems that the event, initially scheduled for late March early April, could move about a month later.
iPhone SE and iPad Air arrive in the spring at a dedicated Apple event
According to reports from analyst Ross Young, a rather reliable display expert, the first Apple event will take place this spring. We should in fact wait until the end of April or the beginning of May to see the new one iPhone SE 3 and the fifth generation of iPad Air.
The new budget smartphone from Apple should retain the design already seen on the series. So a 4.7-inch LCD screen, with abundant bezels above and below, where you also find the Touch ID. The processor, however, should be the latest and most powerful A15 Bionic, with the support of 5G.
Instead Bloomberg confirms that the iPad Air should also arrive in the first Apple event, scheduled for spring 2022. Also in this case, the processor arrives. A15 Bionic for snappy performance (although not on par with the iPad Pro with M1 chip). Apple should work on the bezels for bring a tablet renewed in design but similar in style. Also the front camera would support Center Stage, confirming the importance of FaceTime and video calling for Apple.
If we already knew the contents, the date change for the Apple event could tell about the supply problems that Apple is having, especially for the screens. But they must still be taken with a grain of salt: if the spring event is confirmed by several sources, there are many uncertainties about the possible dates. Apple announces the events without too much advance but with the arrival of the milder season, we should have more news. We will keep you posted.
