The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 arriverà nel 2022
This leak comes from the insider note Samus Hunter on Twitter. According to her, Nintedo still hopes to release Breath of the Wild 2 this fall, without also ruling out the possibility of postponing the game until 2023. According to the leaker, the company’s top plans aren’t likely to make a final decision until April.
If Nintendo does end up postponing the launch, it is unlikely that we will hear any news about the game before next May. Of course at the moment there is no reliable information in this regard, but Samus Hunter has proved to be quite reliable in the past, so his prediction is not to be discarded a priori.
…taken around April, with a possible announcement in early May at most, because usually this happens.
So right now it’s a topic that doesn’t make as much sense to discuss but it will certainly be interesting to see how Nintendo will handle the title announcements.— Samus Hunter | Nintendo Leak and News Inside (@SamusHunter2) January 27, 2022
In any case, Nintendo seems to want to keep some secrecy regarding Breath of the Wild 2, which we remember is not even the real name of the game, given that the company has yet to reveal the official title. Lack of information is necessarily an indication of development problems however, and Nintendo may simply prefer to postpone official communications until it is truly ready to reveal them.
At least the E3 2021 trailer allowed us to get a brief taste of the gameplay of Breath of the Wild 2, showcasing enemies, environments and new mechanics. Most notable are Link’s new set of powers, including a telekinetic boost and the ability to pass through solid objects.
