That player will be happy – we told you about it a few weeks ago here – who was literally desperate for his 6000 hours of play destined to go up in smoke. Following the announcement of the closure of Google Stadia, and due to the strict regulations of RockStar Games, the players of Red Dead Redemption 2 were now resigned to the idea that they would lose all game progress.
The good news arrives today: RockStar Games will allow the transfer of the game accountwith all related bailouts.
Red Dead Redemption 2: it will be possible to transfer the saves from Stadia
Following the desperate appeal of ItsColourTV – the player who had accumulated 5,907 hours of gameplay – RockStar Games has finally stepped in. Anyone who has played Red Dead Redemption 2 on Stadia in the 30 days prior to the announcement of the closure of the service, you will be able to transfer any “RDO $, gold bars, XP and role tokens earned” to another existing account on PC, Xbox One or PlayStation 4. To do this, Stadia players will need to have the target game account linked to your Rockstar Social Club account.
ItsColourTV has published a tweet in which he expressed his joy at the announcement, thanking those who resumed his appeal. “I doubt this would have been possible if it weren’t for all the creators and game journalists who collected my story. I have to thank all of you for helping to save an entire community of players from losing all their online progress ”.
