Rocket League, arriva la Aston Martin DB5 di James Bond
Rocket League has decided to make available, for 1100 credits, the iconic Aston Martin DB5 of James Bond to score spectacular goals. Epic Games developer Psyonix says it has signed a multi-year deal with MGM and Aston Martin to bring 007 into the sports game. Starting, of course, from the classic of the 60s made famous by Goldfinger.
The Aston Martin DB5 was equipped with a power unit and an Octane bodywork, and is now ready to fly and score goals. The 007 Aston Martin DB5 comes with the Silver Birch finish reminiscent of the original Aston Martin color; a one-of-a-kind engine sound and the wheels typical of the original car.

The James Bond vehicle can be obtained through the Rocket League shop for 1100 credits until August 4th. In the teaser and in the official post it is also explained that in the future more James Bond-themed vehicles will arrive, so stay tuned for more updates. This suggests that in the future cars will also be included in the most recent films dedicated to James Bond, such as the upcoming one No Time To Die.
No Time To Die is the last film that was to be released in April 2020, then due to the Covid-19 pandemic it was moved to November 2020. Subsequently it has undergone two other changes regarding the release date, coming to the decision definitive of a release in cinemas the8 October 2021. This is because in the meantime it was necessary to re-shoot some scenes where the sponsors were present. Some gadgets shown and sponsored, thanks to technological innovation, must be replaced with more recent products.
